Sherwin Jack Kolof

My deepest sympathies to the Kolof and Stein families on the death of Jack Kolof. We shared so many wonderful times together in both Chicago and Florida from dinners to golf to game playing. Jack’s beloved wife Harriet was a very dear friend to me and also my husband. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time that marks the end of an era.

Dear Kolof Family,
Please accept my deep sympathy for the loss of my friend , your beloved Jack. Our friendship began some forty years ago when I joined a neighborhood poker group of which Jack was a member. I recall and cherish numerous hours of friendship and fun even though I paid a price for Jack’s expertise in the game!!
It is my hope that you will find some comfort in your loss by recalling your shared happy times with him.

Jack played golf with me and several other guys at Sportsmans. He was energetic and was fun to be with, although he usually recorded his score lower than mine. Jack and Christy celebrated New Years Eve with us several times. We had a lot of laughs together.
We pray that he will now be at peace in Heaven with his wife Harriet. He will be missed.
